Drowning has been one of the top 10 causes of death for children from 5 to 14 years old in Vietnam currently. Tam Thanh mural village is located in Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province . The village has one side bordering the sea and the other side bordering the Truong Giang River, about 7km from the center of Tam Ky city.
