Quang Nam to Establish US Industrial Park

Vietnamese woman creates giant ‘non la’ model in Mekong Delta city

Dao Thi Cam Suong, the calligraphy artist behind the sculpture, said that she was inspired by her love for Can Tho, the local culture, and its residents. A ‘non la’ is a traditional Vietnamese conical hat typically made from bamboo and straw. Suong’s giant conical hat took 89 days to transform from idea to reality. Vietnam’s head coach to visit 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup venues in New Zealand

The month-long competition will take place from July 20 to August 20 next year in Australia and New Zealand — the first co-hosts in the history of the Women’s World Cup. A draw on Saturday put Vietnam in Group E with the U.S., the Netherlands, and an as-yet-unknown winner of the play-off among Thailand, Cameroon, and Portugal.
