Speaking at the event, Do Dinh, director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, emphasized that the festival aims to give visitors the opportunity to experience new tourism products and services that were once part of the capital’s industrial heritage. The highlight of this year’s festival will be a new creative cultural complex at the Gia Lam Train Factory on the outskirts of Hanoi, which is expected to attract young people. The complex will feature a steam locomotive made in Vietnam that is considered the pride of Vietnam Railways in the 1970s and 1980s. According to the plan, more than 60 cultural activities will be held during the festival, including photo exhibitions, seminars, and international workshops.
