Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian zone to host creative design festival
In a space opened for guests to experience Hang Trong folk paintings, participants will have the chance to create folk paintings by themselves, while also holding exchanges with artisans about the history of this kind of art.
Along with this, visitors will have the chance to make musical instruments from recycle materials in a space of music, whilst amateur musicians can play pieces of work by their own way.
In the space for street art, locals will have the chance to experience portrait drawing by both professional and amateur painters.
According to the organisers, the innovative spaces will be open for all people, including children and handicapped people.
The event is one of 40 activities being held across the capital of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2022.
The festival is jointly organised by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Vietnam Architect Association, the UNESCO Office in Hanoi, the Hanoi Promotion Agency, and the Hoan Kiem district People’s Committee.
Running with the theme of “Design and Technology” the festival will feature an array of activities between November 11 and November 20, including some exhibitions lasting through to February, 2023.
