Late Bale penalty earns Wales 1-1 draw with U.S.

Dragged down by U.S. defender Tim Ream in the box, Wales’ all-time top scorer stepped up to the penalty spot in the 82nd minute and made no mistake by hammering the ball into the top corner in front of the “Red Wall” of fans.

With one of the youngest teams at the tournament and themselves returning after eight years, the United States started energetically and took a well-deserved 1-0 lead with a 36th minute goal from Timothy Weah. They were unlucky not to go into the break with a bigger advantage against the flat Welsh.

Buzz, Bump, Goal! Drone Football Takes Center Stage at CES

Five red drones are competing against five blue drones in a thrilling drone soccer match. Controlling the drones from outside the playing field ensures safety for all. The game lasts for three action-packed minutes, with the drones protected by globe-like shields, zooming around, colliding with each other, and bouncing off the green field. Their mission: to score goals by maneuvering a drone through the opposing team’s “donut,” a hoop suspended 3.5 meters in the air that lights up when a goal is achieved. Vietnam reach ASEAN football final after beating Indonesia

in the 2022 AFF Championship final after claiming a 2-0 win over Indonesia in their semifinal second leg in Hanoi on Monday evening. This is the fourth time that Vietnam have qualified for the AFF Championship final. Thanks to Nguyen Tien Linh’s double, Vietnam defeated Indonesia 2-0 after two legs as both teams had drawn 0-0 in Central Jakarta last Friday. The Vietnamese striker put his team ahead quite early with a volley in the third minute before earning his second to double the lead with a header in the 48th minute. Indonesia’s most noticeable remarks were their faults against the hosts that resulted in two yellow cards.
