Heritage journey photography contest debuts

Organised by national carrier Vietnam Airlines’ in-flight magazine Heritage since 2013, the contest aims to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and natural values of Vietnam.

Photographers are encouraged to send their photos of historical and cultural relics, art and architectural works, as well as beautiful landscapes till July 31 at the latest.

The award-winning photos will be featured in different publications by Heritage, offering readers, including foreign visitors, a good insight into Vietnamese people and their rich culture, as well as the country’s stunning landscapes.

A total of 16 prizes worth more than VND250 million will be granted. The best photos will then be picked to be put on display at an exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in late September.

The contest, the ninth of its kind, is to celebrate the 30th founding anniversary of the Heritage magazine.

Buzz, Bump, Goal! Drone Football Takes Center Stage at CES

Five red drones are competing against five blue drones in a thrilling drone soccer match. Controlling the drones from outside the playing field ensures safety for all. Vietnam reach ASEAN football final after beating Indonesia

in the 2022 AFF Championship final after claiming a 2-0 win over Indonesia in their semifinal second leg in Hanoi on Monday evening. This is the fourth time that Vietnam have qualified for the AFF Championship final. Thanks to Nguyen Tien Linh’s double, Vietnam defeated Indonesia 2-0 after two legs as both teams had drawn 0-0 in Central Jakarta last Friday. The Vietnamese striker put his team ahead quite early with a volley in the third minute before earning his second to double the lead with a header in the 48th minute.
